Are you a motivated leader with USDA experience in food manufacturing? We are seeking a Production/Quality Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and drive efficiency in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production while ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, and GMP regulations.
- Train and lead production staff to meet quality, safety, and performance goals.
- Oversee USDA inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and maintain HACCP plans, sanitation protocols, and quality control programs.
- Monitor production schedules, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflow for efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance, production metrics, and quality assurance.
- Investigate and resolve quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformance issues.
- Conduct GMP audits, sanitation checks, and employee training on food safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and introduce new products.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational for food safety compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and production efficiency.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing with USDA oversight.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with USDA inspectors and regulatory agencies.
