This Asphault Company is one of the largest paving and milling companies in Southern Middle Tennessee. We operate in numerous counties across the middle Tennessee region. With over 50 years experience in asphalt productions and highway construction, we are an organization committed to safety and operational success. *2 + years experince as a foreman required *Pay Range $90,000- $105,000 based on experince.   *Night and weekend shift work may be required, based on customer demand. *Provided:   extensive benefits, strong compensation, cell phone reimbursement and company vehicle.   Company funded employee life insuance, 401k, Medical; Start accruing PTO in 6 months.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this role will have a demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and retain
crew members focused on safety, quality and productivity. Other duties included but are not
limited to:
• Ability to perform base and grading in accordance with TDOT, local and commercial
specifications.
• Ability to read plans and specifications (application rates, grade, slope, drainage, etc.)
• Proven track record of completing jobs under budget and on time.
• Ability to manage all aspects of the operation including ordering trucks, logistics,
maintenance and outside services.
• Coordination between other crews, subs and vendors.
• Daily submission of crew time and shift production reports as required by management.
• Ability and willingness to work along the I-24 corridor, as needed.
• Education, Experience and Knowledge
• 2+ years experience as a foreman, with references.
• Knowledge of local customers and specifications is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven record of being a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision.
• Ability to work well with team members or inspectors while managing stressful situations in
changing environments.
• Working foreman required.
• Proficient with GPS grade and slope control- preferred.
• Night and weekend shift work may be required, based on customer demand.
• Computer skills required.
