Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve mechanical and electrical systems to maximize uptime and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues using precision tools and test equipment.
- Dismantle, inspect, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
- Adjust and calibrate control instruments and functional machine parts.
- Conduct routine inspections, document findings, and maintain inventory of parts/supplies.
- Troubleshoot 3-phase systems (up to 480V) using technical drawings and test equipment.
- Utilize SAP CMMS for work orders, notifications, and documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma/GED; 5-10 years of industrial maintenance experience OR AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic typing skills.
- 2-year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance.
- ARC Flash Training, Lean/WCM knowledge, CMMS familiarity.
- Electrical expertise: VFDs, solenoids, servos, power distribution, Siemens/Allen Bradley drives.
- Skilled in rigid conduit bending and installation.
