Do you have experience with drafting and design in a manufacturing setting? If so, Randstad is seeking candidates for a CAD Operator with a Cleveland, TN area company. The ideal candidate should be skilled in CAD with experience in Solidworks. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for making design changes to existing models of parts, ensuring they meet engineering requirements and specifications. The candidate will work closely with the design and engineers to improve and update CAD models, making modifications and adjustments as necessary.  Although this will begin as a temporary opportunity, there is a great chance it will evolve into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Randstad benefits are available during the temporary period (at an additional cost) and company benefits are available at the time of permanent hire. Responsibilities

• Modify and update existing 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement design changes and enhancements.
• Ensure that all modifications align with technical specifications and standards.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and models to accurately modify parts.
• Maintain and organize CAD files and documentation for version control and future reference.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the modification process.
• Provide technical support to other departments, ensuring designs are manufacturable and meet required tolerances.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all designs meet internal and external quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in SolidWorks with hands-on experience in 3D modeling and part design.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design for manufacturability.
• Experience with making modifications to existing CAD models, particularly parts and assemblies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for CAD modeling.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple design revisions.
