- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and SQF/BRC standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions (cold/hot environments, standing for long periods, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality checks, inspections, and audits on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other food safety programs.
- Collect and analyze samples for microbial, chemical, and physical testing.
- Investigate and document quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances, working with production to implement corrective actions.
