What You’ll Do:
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathe and/or milling machines to produce high-precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities
- Adapts and improvises tooling solutions to achieve desired results, leveraging extensive knowledge of production machining technology, operational skills, and diverse shop techniques.
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates various conventional and specialized CNC Lathe machines to perform complex production tasks, ensuring precise tolerances, intricate dimensional relationships, and high-quality finishes.
- Brings five or more years of hands-on machining experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Examines finished components to verify they meet specifications using visual inspection and precision measurement tools such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and surface plate techniques.
- Ensures all equipment remains properly calibrated according to the designated schedule.
- Regularly maintains machinery to uphold cleanliness, precision, and reliability in line with division requirements.
- Consistently performs statistical process control (SPC) checks with accuracy, following division guidelines.
- Utilizes advanced mathematical concepts, including trigonometry, along with a comprehensive understanding of metal properties and processing methods.
- Actively supports lean initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
