Are you organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with tools and inventory management? We’re looking for a reliable Stock Room Clerk to manage and maintain our inventory of parts and material. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our manufacturing plant runs smoothly by tracking inventory, ordering necessary parts, and communicating with vendors. If you have excellent computer and communication skills, along with a knowledge of tools and parts, we want to hear from you!

salary: $52,000 - $56,160 per year

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ordering and purchasing parts and materials as needed, including managing purchase orders and liaising with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Log and track the usage of tools, parts, and materials used in production processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate with vendors via phone and email to inquire about pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Ensure that vendor relationships are managed professionally and promptly.
• Receive, inspect, and store inventory in a neat and organized manner. Ensure that stock is easily accessible for production needs, and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing parts and materials using computer systems. Prepare reports and updates on stock levels and order status.
• Stay knowledgeable about the tools and parts used in the manufacturing process, ensuring the correct items are ordered and stocked.
• Verify the condition and quality of parts upon receipt and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to vendors and management.
