industrial maintenance technician.

We are looking for a MultiCraft Industrial Maintenance Technician to fulfill our 2nd shift opening. This is a Monday-Friday role with occassional Saturdays on an as needed basis. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience primarily with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repairs. This is a direct hire role with full benefits!  Apply today for consideration!!

Responsibilities

• Electrical repair: replace wires, valves and sensors. Work up to 480V 3 phase 
• Conduct a safety evaluation of work area prior to performing maintenance actions.
• Perform routine maintenance or preventive maintenance actions for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures.  
• Obtain estimates and order supplies and/or replacement parts as needed from outside vendors via telephone or off-site meetings; drive to pick-up supplies/parts or attend off-site meetings as required.
• Travel to other plants to perform maintenance actions as required
• Maintenance actions include setup actions for product runs; troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery/equipment; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; providing corrective actions as required.
• Perform minor/major emergency repairs as required for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating and safety procedures.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 6 hours at one time
