Responsibilities
Position Summary
To maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in both office and industrial warehouse settings. This role requires custodial responsibilities as well as the ability to ensure cleanliness, order, and upkeep of the warehouse area, including performing light maintenance and painting tasks as needed.
Primary Functions
- Ensures all work areas, including office spaces and warehouse, are prepared for the next day by removing trash, organizing common areas, and dusting surfaces.
- Sweeps, mops floors, vacuums carpets, and ensures warehouse floors are clean and clear of debris.
- Cleans and sanitizes toilets and sinks, wipes mirrors and windows, and mops floors in office areas.
- Performs general maintenance and painting tasks in both office and warehouse spaces.
- Orders and restocks cleaning supplies, disposables, and materials for painting and minor repairs.
- Reports any damages, maintenance needs, or items requiring replacement to management.
- Consults on cleaning or maintenance tasks outside normal duties, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assumes additional duties as requested by the Supervisor.
- Standing and walking will be required almost 100 percent of the time.
- Sufficient physical ability to perform light lifting (up to 55 lbs.), carrying, reaching, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and similar elevations.
- Forklift experience preferred.
