We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the night shift (10 PM – 6:30 AM). This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with palletizers, automated box cutters, conveyors, and delta wrappers in a manufacturing environment.  * The site manufactures chemicals for pool cleaning products

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Modify, install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of machinery and equipment, including palletizers, automated box cutters, conveyors, and delta wrappers.
• Provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns with a customer-oriented approach.
• Operate machine shop tools, including mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and saws.
• Perform basic welding, metal fabrication, and plumbing as needed.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 120-480V systems, variable speed drives, and PLC-related issues (primarily Allen Bradley, with some Siemens).
• Assist in the setup, takedown, and relocation of processing and packaging equipment.
• Order necessary parts through the maintenance planner or supervisor and assist in planning scheduled maintenance work.
• Lift, twist, and carry up to 45 lbs as required for maintenance tasks.

standing for 7 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
