Responsibilities
- Assign detailed daily work schedules of work assignments for each mechanic on each shift, follow up with shift leads to ensure that worksheets are correctly filled out and that incomplete items are reassigned.
- Assign P.M. sheets on all equipment to all shifts and reassign if necessary to provide 100% completion.
- Follow up on shop cleanup activities daily.
- Write a detailed weekly report of all pertinent work activities.
- Respond to line calls as needed.
- Provide expertise knowledge and training on equipment to mechanics as needed to perform their job duties.
- Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
- strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Understanding of budgeting and performance management
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- An eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum Education Required: HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Education desired: 2year/ AA degree preferred.
- Years Of Relevant Experience: 2-4
- Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred
