Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in custodial work, including using floor scrubbers and managing supply ordering. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the building while ensuring that all necessary cleaning supplies are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment to maintain floors, carpets, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, hallways, windows, and other common areas on a regular schedule.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, order replacements as needed, and ensure that stock levels are adequate for daily operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all cleaning chemicals are used appropriately and safely.
- Coordinate with the facility management team to address any urgent cleaning or maintenance requests.
- Assist in setting up rooms for events, meetings, or other activities when required.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the building.
