Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to assemble and repair truck bodies.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project specifications.
Operate welding equipment and other machinery (e.g., grinders, plasma cutters, etc.) to prepare and join metal parts.
Inspect completed welds for quality, ensuring they meet safety and industry standards.
Ensure all work is completed with precision, meeting project timelines, and customer expectations.
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping tools and equipment in optimal condition.
Collaborate with other team members and management to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder, preferably in truck body or heavy equipment manufacturing or recent certification/ training. (Oilfied Welders are excluded from consideration)
Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Able to pass hands on Welding test
Understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of welding safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
Subject to drug screen and background check
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions if required.
