Responsibilities
Industry: Car Transmission
Location: Plant/Warehouse
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Availability: Must be available on Saturdays if needed (Overtime expected)
Lifting Requirement: Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs
Language Requirement: bilingual preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with shipping merchants and traders, negotiating freight charges.
- Coordinate with clients and shipping companies to resolve any shipping-related issues or complaints.
- Prepare shipping quotes for customers and generate sales reports for management.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments and execute stevedoring activities.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient land-based shipping operations.
- Review and process order changes, returns, and cancellations.
- Determine the most efficient shipping methods and routes for courier services.
- Schedule loads and process all necessary shipping paperwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & Excel.
- Experience with SAP Business One and LISA (internal software).
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and manage multiple priorities.
