Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team performance meets company standards.
- Ensure that all food safety and quality control procedures are followed throughout the production process.
- Conduct inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance programs, recommending improvements when necessary.
- Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and maintain product specifications, process control documents, and quality records.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety and regulatory standards, including HACCP, GMP, and FDA guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain reports on quality metrics, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions.
- Train and mentor team members on food safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.
