Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and hoses.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform routine maintenance and testing on hydraulic equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Install and commission new hydraulic systems and equipment.
- Interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and manuals to determine system design and identify faults.
- Conduct pressure tests, flow tests, and other diagnostic procedures to ensure system performance and safety.
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements for hydraulic systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance team members to improve system performance and reliability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for hydraulic equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and other maintenance personnel as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in hydraulic systems.
