Responsibilities

• Fish Cutting & Processing:
  
  
  • Clean, scale, gut, fillet, and portion fish according to specifications.
  • Ensure precise cuts to minimize waste and maximize yield.
  • Follow proper techniques for handling different fish species.
• Packing & Quality Control:
  
  
  • Inspect fish for freshness, quality, and adherence to company standards.
  • Weigh, portion, and package fish products accurately.
  • Label packages correctly with product details and expiration dates.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of packed products.
• Sanitation & Safety Compliance:
  
  
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, FDA, etc.).
  • Wear required PPE (gloves, aprons, hairnets, etc.).
  • Properly dispose of fish waste and maintain a clean workspace.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
  
  
  • Operate cutting tools, band saws, and packaging equipment safely.
  • Clean and sanitize tools and machines after each use.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Teamwork & Efficiency:
  
  
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
  • Coordinate with coworkers to maintain workflow.
  • Assist in loading/unloading deliveries when needed.
