Responsibilities
Must be able to work with little instruction, able to follow details, and troubleshoot.
This position is responsible for assembling and testing optical assemblies and fibers to very tight tolerance requirements with minimal supervision using work instructions, drawings and specifications.
Job details:
- Electro-Mechanical assembly of custom test fixtures and various styles of test equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and customer specifications.
- Electrical wiring of test fixtures, 19" rack mount cabinets and control panels.
- Custom cable assembly using various OEM contact crimp tooling.
- Assembly, cabling and wiring custom 19” rack mount cabinet test stand.
- Ensuring a high level of quality in all phases of production.
- Ensure products and components work consistently and correctly.
