Responsibilities
Hands-On Experience: Experience with injection molding equipment and understanding the intricacies of how these machines operate is crucial.
Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment.
Electrical Knowledge: Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical systems, as many injection molding machines have sophisticated control systems.
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Understanding these systems is essential since they are core to the operation of injection molding machines.
Routine Inspections: Regularly inspecting machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate into significant problems.
Scheduled Maintenance: Performing preventive maintenance tasks according to a set schedule to ensure machinery operates efficiently and to reduce downtime.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventories.
Continuous Improvement: Recommending improvements to maintenance procedures and machine operations to increase productivity and reduce costs.
