Responsibilities
*Inspects equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary repairs and the corrective action
necessary.
*Perform repairs with limited departmental supervision with higher level of responsibility for repair.
*Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
*Successfully complete appropriate training sessions as required.
*Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid
checks.
*Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostics tools and schematics.
*Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
*Assemble and disassemble engines and related equipment for inspection and repair.
*Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively during repairs.
*Conduct inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
*Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
*Demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic and electric tools.
*Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with Equipment Manager
and fellow employees.
