We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the optimal operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. You'll diagnose problems, perform timely repairs, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Execute assignments received from the Maintenance Manager/Mechanic Lead in a timely and accurate fashion with the objective of minimizing downtime and maximizing quality, safety, and run time.
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on conveyor systems, and production machines
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Understand and adhere to GMP, SOP and safety procedures at all times.
- Participate, as required, in safety and GMP training sessions, and other company training sessions

Responsibilities
Observes mechanical devices in operation and diagnoses malfunctions.
•Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
•Makes approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
•Repairs or replaces defective parts. Lubricates and cleans parts.
•Starts devices to test their performance.
•Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, welder, and other metalworking tools to fabricate and repair parts.
•Effectively install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and hydraulic issues on production equipment, conveyor systems, and facilities related equipment within the plant.
•Keeps accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records and ensures that all revisions to equipment and tools are properly recorded.
•Determines equipment/parts needed for repair. Works with Supply Chain department to purchase.
