Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product compliance.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections per AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Document and report non-conformances using established quality control processes.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection records and reports per industry and company standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent defects.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Support audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality training programs.
