Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer designs and implements automated systems for manufacturing, collaborating with leadership to assess current capabilities and identify future automation opportunities. This role develops project roadmaps to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and program automation equipment and processes.
- Identify and eliminate defects through machine and process improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to set automation goals.
- Support daily operations, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Upgrade existing automation technology and implement new systems.
- Provide timely project reporting and support all company sites as needed.
- Participate in capital planning and project execution.
- Research and implement new automation technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with project management and automation equipment maintenance.
- Ability to perform complex system tests and communicate effectively.
- Must lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequently stand, walk, and operate machinery.
