Responsibilities
The Skilled/Technical Machine Operator to ensure efficient production by operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment while following safety and quality standards. This role requires mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper setup, changeovers, and line clearance.
- Conduct quality checks and accurately record production data.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following LOTO and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with new technology implementation and process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Report safety or production concerns immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical and pneumatic knowledge preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automation and measuring tools is a plus.
- Teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
