Responsibilities
⦁ Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyor systems, sortation, scales, and printer applicators.
⦁ Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC motors, and drives.
⦁ Adjust, repair, or replace belts, chains, cables, bearings, wheels, pulleys, and other components.
⦁ Troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, sensors, solenoids, starters, encoders, etc.
⦁ Perform preventative maintenance on industrial and facility equipment (PIT, HVAC, compressors, dryers, balers).
⦁ Conduct basic electrical maintenance and simple repairs using tools like multimeters and infrared thermometers.
⦁ Read and interpret basic electrical/electronic schematics.
⦁ Utilize handheld devices and asset management systems to log work orders and track maintenance data.
⦁ Follow all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out and Arc Flash guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
⦁ Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
⦁ Lift and move items up to 49 lbs.
⦁ Walk extensively within and around the facility.
⦁ Safely climb ladders and work at heights.
⦁ Full manual dexterity in hands, wrists, and feet.
⦁ Work in varying conditions (small spaces, dust, odors, temperature changes, noise, standing for long periods).
⦁ Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift.
