Our client is seeking an Outbound Warehouse Manager to lead night warehouse operations. This critical leadership role oversees order selection, loading, replenishment, and equipment maintenance while ensuring efficiency, safety, and employee engagement.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage 8 supervisors and clerks in night warehouse operations.
- Oversee order selection, replenishment, loading, and safety compliance.
- Monitor labor hours, manage budgets, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop work schedules, including extra shifts as needed.
- Ensure proper asset utilization and coordinate equipment and facility repairs.
- Conduct audits, enforce compliance with HAACP, OSHA, and food safety regulations.
- Train and develop staff, fostering engagement and maintaining open communication.
- Implement process improvements, collaborate across departments, and drive operational excellence.
✅ 3-5 years of experience in food or beverage distribution warehouse operations. ✅ Proven leadership in a night shift setting, managing teams effectively. ✅ Experience overseeing warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certifications preferred). ✅ Knowledge of warehouse safety, operations, and logistics. ✅ High school diploma required; a degree in Business Management or Supply Chain is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Manages daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in order selection, replenishment, and loading.
- Oversees labor hours and budgets, preparing schedules and managing company assets, including coordinating necessary repairs.
- Reviews warehouse productivity, identifies operational challenges, and implements cost-saving initiatives.
- Conducts shipping and loading audits to ensure compliance with HAACP, food safety, and regulatory requirements while minimizing material loss.
- Maintains a clean and safe warehouse, monitoring sanitation and facility conditions.
- Engages with associates through regular meetings, fostering communication and morale while enforcing company policies.
- Works with the Safety department to provide training, conduct observations, update work methods, and investigate accidents.
- Recommends and implements disciplinary actions or behavior modifications when needed.
- Manages staff selection, development, performance evaluations, and discipline.
- Supports overall warehouse operations by stepping in when necessary.
- Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, AIB, FDA, and USDA standards.
