Position Overview: As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will be responsible for inspecting materials and finished metal products to ensure they meet our stringent quality requirements. You will utilize a Keyence CMM microscope to measure products and employ CMM programs to track and confirm all measurements accurately. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be key to ensuring product integrity at every stage of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect in process and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Operate the Keyence CMM microscope to perform precise measurements of products.
- Utilize CMM programs to track, document, and confirm measurements.
- Interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to quality control and work with the team to resolve problems.
- Maintain thorough records of inspections, tests, and measurements for reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of GD&T and its practical application in quality assurance.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, especially in metal product inspection, is a plus.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
