As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced Tool and Die Maker, specializing in the setup, repair, and maintenance of Fourslide machines.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Fourslide Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate fourslide machines to produce metal components according to specifications. Ensure that machines are correctly calibrated and configured for each production run.
• Tool and Die Fabrication: Design, fabricate, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures required for four-slide and other stamping machines.
• Tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and dies, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition and addressing any wear or damage.
• Blueprint & CAD Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine tool and die specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and conformity to design specifications using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges). Perform troubleshooting on parts to ensure high standards of quality.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in tooling and production processes. Work with the production team to optimize the use of fourslide machines and tooling for efficiency and quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other production staff to ensure smooth workflows and timely production schedules.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all company safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool and die specifications, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
