We are currently seeking candidates for Production Operator openings on 2nd shift with a local Cleveland manufacturer!  These are full time, temp to permanent opportunities for candidates with consistent, stable work history in a manufacturing environment.Starting salary is $18.50/hr!

salary: $18 - $18.5 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2:30 PM - 11 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the final stages of product manufactured before shipping to customers
• Support production line work, such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts
• Inspect parts for defects per zone control
• Assist operators with set up procedures 
• Support the maintenance, tooling, quality, and logistics departments 
• Perform quality checks and ensure product meets specifications 
• Utilizing welding and grinding hand tools 
• Maintain & improve housekeeping within work area
• Run jobs on laser, assembly and press equipment ensuring all parts meet tight
  manufacturing requirements
• Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking
  environment 
• Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve
  process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase outflow 
• Other duties assigned by the management team

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
