We are currently looking for a talented Manual Machinist to operate a variety of manual machines and contribute to our manufacturing process. - Operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce parts with high precision.
- Set up machines, including tool and fixture changes, and maintain equipment.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Work closely with engineers, quality control, and other machinists to complete projects on time.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree in machining is a plus).
- Proven experience as a manual machinist with hands-on knowledge of operating manual mills, lathes, and grinders.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Knowledge of machining best practices and safety standards.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
