Are you an experienced Quality Control Inspector looking for an opportunity to work with large weldments and machined parts (40,000+ lbs.)? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and help ensure our products meet the highest industry standards.
What You’ll Do: ✔️ Inspect large weldments and machined parts using handheld measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges) ✔️ Utilize laser trackers for precision measurements ✔️ Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T ✔️ Conduct NDT inspections (VT, PT, MT, UT) and maintain certification in at least two methods ✔️ Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and QC teams to maintain quality and meet deadlines ✔️ Communicate feedback effectively, fostering collaboration and improvement ✔️ Lead groups of peers in quality processes and inspections
What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of weld inspection experience 3+ years of experience with handheld measuring tools 1+ years of experience using laser trackers Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or ability to obtain certification understanding of GD&T principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Leadership skills and the ability to work independently Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Manual dexterity for precision work Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (climbing, balancing, stooping, walking) PPE required at all times

This position regularly interacts with manufacturing, engineering, and other peers in the QC department. Interpersonal skills are key to success as this position regularly leads groups of peers from production and QC to complete jobs on time. Persons in this role must have a solid analytical approach to decision making and problem solving, and above all, be consistent in performance and decision making over time.
