Responsibilities

• Fix Brakes, Steering & Suspension: You'll keep the buses running smoothly by working on braking, steering, and suspension systems.
• Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and fix electrical problems with things like alternators, wiring, and driveline parts using the latest tools.
• Help with Engine & Driveline Maintenance: Assist with big engine repairs and maintenance, like rebuilding or replacing engines, transmissions, and other driveline parts.
• Lead Vehicle Inspections: You'll make sure the buses are safe and ready to hit the road by performing thorough inspections and signing off on them.
• Mentor Junior Mechanics: Share your knowledge and skills with junior team members, helping them grow and learn.
• Work on Electric Vehicles: Get hands-on with electric buses, maintaining systems like high-voltage components, batteries, and drivetrains, and stay up-to-date with this growing field.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs
