2nd shift forklift operator.

As a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods and products within our refrigerated warehouse. Additionally, you will assist with building and preparing pallets for shipment, ensuring they are securely packed and ready for delivery. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in cold temperatures, and the capability to maintain a safe and organized work environment.   Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operating experience, preferably in a refrigerated or warehouse environment.
• Experience building pallets and stacking products securely for shipment.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures (refrigerated environment)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the refrigerated warehouse.
• Build and prepare pallets by properly stacking products, ensuring they are secure for shipment.
• Load and unload products in storage areas.
• Ensure proper storage and placement of products in designated areas to maintain an organized warehouse.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures, especially in a refrigerated environment.
• Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of product locations and quantities.
• Monitor the temperature and humidity of the refrigerated areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to sanitation standards.
