Randstad is seeking an Installation Field Technician that will be based out of the RI Facility. The candidate must be Professional and Courteous for interaction with customer representatives. The candidate should be experienced with: installation (flooring is preferred), measuring, math, blueprint/diagram reading, hand/power tools, problem solving, and have attention to detail. The position requires traveling to commercial customer sites such as: Pharmaceutical, Electronics, Hospitals, IT Datacenters, and Government facilities. Responsibilities

- Installing, repairing, and removing Specialized Contamination Control Flooring at commercial customer facilities.

- Inspect and clean surface in preparation for material lay out. 

 - Install underlayment if required due to improper subfloor.

- Cut flooring materials according to blueprints; and use adhesive to glue material to floor. 

- Clean residue, glue, dust, debris from newly installed floors and inspect finished product for flaws.

- Provide required cleaning demonstration to customer on site.

- Assist in investigating complaints/issues with installed areas and assist in resolving problems.

- Maintain excellent rapport with customers.

- Documents service and installation actions by completing required reports.

- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.

- Communicate any issues/changes to the Office.

- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
