Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, and other machinery) to produce high-precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM programs to determine machining operations.
• Select the appropriate tooling and materials for each job to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Monitor the machining process, adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling as necessary to maintain part quality.
• Perform in-process inspections and adjust machine settings to ensure parts meet strict quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process, including tooling or equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety guidelines and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including work orders, inspection reports, and machine logs.
• Participate in regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate processes to identify and implement improvements in efficiency and quality.
