We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing of products in the Food Ingredient Division and organize and monitor workflow on the specified shift of production. Develop cost effective processes and reduce waste while also increasing productivity and employee satisfaction. Troubleshoot processes and provide on-going training to all production personnel. Ensure the safety of workers in the organization by ensuring safety policy compliance for the departments.
salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Scheduling production and setting work schedules.
- Interviewing, hiring, developing training schedules for new employees and evaluating the performance of the workers such as attendance and productivity, including placing employees in appropriate positions to increase productivity.
- Implements continuous improvement activity to reduce scrap and increase productivity.
- Lead the team in applying Good Manufacturing Practices for safe food and feed.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the processes; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Coordinate efforts with the R&D team to troubleshoot any product quality discrepancies and execute suggested adjustments to ensure finished product quality.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the process flow on shift production summaries.
