Job Description: Randstad is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join a rapidly expanding printing company in the San Carlos area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for setting up and operating various bindery machines to ensure high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cutting machines, including Polar Cutter and Challenge Drill Press
- Use the Challenge Round Corner Machine for precision work
- Assist in scoring and folding tasks (a big plus if you're experienced with these machines)
- Ensure high-quality standards and consistency throughout the binding process
- Troubleshoot and maintain bindery equipment to ensure smooth operation
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or similar role in a printing environment
- Proficiency in using bindery equipment such as cutting machines, drill presses, and corner rounding machines
- Experience with scoring and folding machines is highly desirable
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
