Responsibilities
• Machining Operation: Utilize various machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to shape, cut, and finish metal parts according to specifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the dimensions, tolerances, and features required for the part.
• Material Selection: Select suitable materials based on project requirements, considering material properties, durability, and the part's intended use.
• Tool Selection and Setup: Choose and install appropriate cutting tools, drills, and other accessories needed for the machining process.
• Machining Processes: Perform various machining processes, including turning, drilling, milling, grinding, and threading, to shape and refine the workpiece.
• Programming CNC Machines: Create or modify computer programs that control the machine's movements and operations, requiring knowledge of programming languages and CAD/CAM software.
• Measurement and Inspection: Verify the dimensions and quality of the machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
