Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods, including order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, and warehouses to ensure seamless operations.
- Track shipments in real-time, resolve delays or issues, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage inventory levels in collaboration with the warehouse team to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Process and verify shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork (if applicable).
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping status and delivery timelines.
- Support returns processing and reverse logistics as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role, preferably in e-commerce.
- Well versed in shipping methods, carrier networks, and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency a must).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors, team members, and customers.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
