Responsibilities
- Set up and operate KBA offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on the press to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Monitor printing quality throughout production, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistency and quality standards.
- Ensure proper ink and paper usage, and adjust press settings to accommodate different print jobs.
- Read and interpret job orders, print specifications, and blueprints to set up the press accordingly.
- Perform pre-press checks, including calibration, alignment, and color management.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the press and surrounding work area.
- Work with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Monitor press output to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Track and record production data, including job status, downtime, and any maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
