Responsibilities
- Operate printing presses (e.g., offset or digital presses) to produce high-quality prints for various materials such as brochures, posters, magazines, and more.
- Set up and adjust press equipment to meet job specifications, including ink types, paper sizes, and press speed.
- Monitor and maintain ink and color quality, adjusting as necessary to ensure consistency throughout the print run.
- Ensure proper setup and operation of machines, ensuring no disruptions during production.
- Perform regular quality control checks and troubleshooting, identifying and correcting any issues related to the press.
- Review job orders, production schedules, and artwork to ensure all specifications are met before starting the printing process.
- Maintain detailed records of materials used, press settings, and production times.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures for the printing process.
- Perform basic maintenance on printing equipment to keep presses running smoothly and prevent downtime.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including pre-press, finishing, and production staff, to ensure timely delivery of print jobs.
