Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Technician and/ or Machine Operator who is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving tough problems? We are looking for an individual to champion the quality of our products using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects and assembly of quality parts. salary: $16.24 - $16.25 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
Set up, start, and observe machine operations, and troubleshoot or adjust as required
Operate a variety of machines and assemble components
Complete changeovers or material feedthrough
Complete first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists
Use gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpieces
Perform other duties as assigned
 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
2. Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
3. Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.

4. Must have machine operating experience

5. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment

6. Prefers someone with Lock Out Tag Out experience





The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
