Responsibilities
- Follow safety standards
- Ensure all cuts align with plans and project requirements
- Install blades, set guide bars, and position material on the saw tabl
- Cut wood or other materials to specified dimensions
- Ensure quality and efficiency of the sawing process
- Perform routine maintenance on saws and equipment
- Load and unload logs and lumber
- Work with senior sawyers and production staff
