Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and related systems.
- Perform general maintenance activities primarily focused on machinery, automated process equipment, and related components.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and identify issues with equipment, escalating complex problems to senior team members as necessary.
- Ensure that all plant equipment remains in a safe, reliable, and professional condition to support production goals.
- Complete required training and certifications, and provide on-the-job training (OJT) to other employees as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all areas where maintenance is performed meet safety and cleanliness standards.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues on automated and advanced control systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment to ensure reliable operation and extend the life of assets.
- Perform wiring and repairs on electric motors and basic electrical systems, in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Provide guidance to operators and team members regarding safe operation procedures for electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
- Design, fabricate, and install mechanical and electronic equipment as needed, and perform necessary program adjustments.
