We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in operating 3, 4, and 5-axis mills to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision aerospace components. This role requires a keen attention to detail, adherence to strict quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation: Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture aerospace components according to blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications.
• Tooling and Maintenance: Select appropriate tools and fixtures, perform tool changes, and conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect and measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices in machining operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
