What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment for maximum efficiency.
- Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill press, milling machine) for part fabrication.
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMPs, and sanitary maintenance standards.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Complete and document work orders within the maintenance system.
- Support plant initiatives and continuously improve processes.
salary: $53,600 - $71,510 per year

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the facility.
- Set up and use machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press, and milling machine to repair or fabricate parts.
- Troubleshoot issues and repair failures of production and facility equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Food manufacturing experience required—must have a strong understanding of food safety regulations, GMPs, and sanitary equipment maintenance.
- Complete assigned work orders and maintain maintenance areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Utilize maintenance systems as necessary to complete daily, weekly, and monthly duties.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Enter information into systems to document work order completion.
- Provide support to the team in the predictive and preventative maintenance program.
- Participate and actively support all plant initiatives.
- Organize and define tasks with minimal supervision.
- Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
