- Proven experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems maintenance (up to 480v 3-phase power).
- Basic knowledge of PLC control systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with vendors and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including after hours and weekends (rarely).
- Must pass a verbal maintenance knowledge test as part of the hiring process.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in awkward positions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., indoor, outdoor, temperature-controlled spaces, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Perform corrective maintenance on all building systems and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic electrical, and basic PLC control systems.
- Coordinate vendor activities related to maintenance tasks.
- Organize and schedule preventative and predictive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and systems.
- Utilize technical manuals to carry out recommended maintenance procedures and troubleshoot issues.
- Source necessary parts and supplies for maintenance activities, ensuring timely availability.
- Prepare requisitions and issue purchase orders to suppliers for needed materials and services.
- Maintain the organization of the maintenance area, including the inventory of critical repair materials and supplies (RMO parts).
- Coordinate and complete project activities related to maintenance improvements or new installations.
- Communicate effectively with production teams regarding maintenance needs and work in coordination with plant management to ensure production schedules are met.
- Utilize the maintenance software for tracking and documenting all maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
