Responsibilities
- Create, complete, and maintain customer-requested food safety/quality documentation. Ensure all documentation requirements follow customers’ and FDA specifications/expectations and are completed promptly.
Ensure that all documents are reviewed and updated yearly.
- Supervises and maintains the company’s Trace Gains and ensures that all supplier documentation is available, up-to-date, and accurate.
- Ensure production records, internal audits, and other Quality Systems documentation are filed, stored, and archived in accordance with record retention policies. Verify that all documents are reviewed and updated annually
Maintain the document registries and ensure that the document controllers for each department are trained on the proper documentation format and procedure
Review and assign document control numbers to all forms and procedures (SOPs) within the company.
- Approves, verifies, and communicates disposition of incoming raw materials: Approval of compliant Certificates of Analysis (COA)
