- High School Diploma or GED.
- 10-15 years of injection molding experience (preferably in the automotive and medical industries).
- Experience maintaining and repairing complex injection molds.
- Knowledge of reel-to-reel molding, insert molding, and decoupled molding is a plus.
- Understanding of injection molding machine design and function.
- Familiarity with plastic resins and processing applications.
- Ability to read advanced blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Well-organized with good prioritization and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and focused on continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO-13485 standards.
- Knowledge of statistical methods.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mold and finished product issues using knowledge of injection molding techniques and materials.
- Work alongside quality assurance to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
- Communicate daily with the team regarding tool conditions, improvements, and spare parts inventory.
- Implement corrective actions for tooling issues affecting part quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with previous and upcoming shifts to align on work assignments and production goals.
- Reduce tool build, repair, and scrap costs through continuous improvements.
- Train operators as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including grinding spare parts.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop.
- Follow industry and quality management standards.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
