Our client is seeking a skilled Fourslide Setup Machine Operator to join our growing team in the Tampa Bay area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Fourslide Die Making and machine setup, with a thorough understanding of four-slide machinery, die setup, and adjustment processes. You will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting Nilson and Baird Fourslide and Multislide machines, ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met. This role requires expertise in tooling installation, machine calibration, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings using Key Creator or AutoCAD software. Additionally, you will oversee quality control through precise measurements and adjustments to maintain consistent product quality. Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a background in die making processes and techniques, with experience in designing and building new dies and tooling
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fourslide Die Making
•  Knowledge of die making processes and techniques
• Experience with Key Creator or Auto Cad design software

A four-slide setup machine operator needs the following essential skills:

• Understanding of four-slide machines, their functions, and setup processes, including reading manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, engineering blueprints, and material specifications for precise production.
• Proficient in selecting, installing, and adjusting dies, punches, and tooling to ensure proper part formation.
• Skilled in inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve machine issues, performing basic maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. 
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment and proper use of PPE. 
• Proficient in basic calculations, unit conversions, and understanding tolerances for precise work.
• Thorough grasp of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
• Ability to set up machines quickly, meet production deadlines, and maximize efficiency. Clear communication with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other operators to ensure smooth operations.
